The idea of a series of paintings ‘Sleeping Mars’ is taken from the classic paintings, where Venus is sleeping on the red sofa. Depicting nude women was the privilege of male-painters. The time has changed, and in my work i also portrait my beloved. On canvases he is idolized to God — Mars.
The series, by the way, was started in March 2015, a month, which was named after Mars. This work particularly has been finished in 2016. It is a painting, made in a style of a sketching.
