Comfy Venus

This painting depicts a young woman on the sofa who holds a book in the hands. Traditionally, Venus was always depicted on the red or purple background, so did I. My Venus is wearing a comfy pijama and socks, she is not painted to be objectified as in the traditional oil paintings. This reflects the way today's sociaty changes, and the audience gets used to a more realistic image of a woman (though her portrait can be painted modernistically).
