Bali sketches, part I
Indonesia inspired drawings with local routine and sarong colors.
October 25, 2017
I used to stay in Bali for 5 months. While living in Ubud village, I have been making sketches for my future paintings. I depicted local routine, ceremonies, how my landlord Made cleaned the garden and how old women worked on a construction site, I draw portraits of the beach vendors and the motorbike riders — everything, what made Bali so authentic in my eyes. This part is devoted to the Balinese Ubud life. They are drawn by the colors, inspired by flowers of the island and mainly sarongs (a piece of fabric, which is used as a skirt). More Bali sketches find here.
