Adrien Brody, a portrait from Hungarian series
December 5, 2017
Adrien Brody is an actor, the youngest nominee of Oscar for a role in a movie "The Pianist". This is the fifth portrait in my series devoted to ethnic Hungarians, whom I liked before the immigration to Budapest. Brody's mother was born in Budapest and she is the daughter of a Hungarian aristocrat.
I noticed Adrien Brody before he became world famous. He looked exactly the same, as my first boyfriend. I considered my love to be the most attractive young man in school and I admired his long hands and Jewish nose a lot, therefore, I liked Brody from the first glaze as well. I particularly sympathize the actor in Wes Anderson's movies. That's why I chose the shot from the film with Hungarian capital in its name. "The Grand Hotel Budapest" became the main inspiration and reference for this portrait.
